Web Based Application is a real double-entry accounting system.
It accomplishes many of its accounting tasks in the background (to
make the process easier for non-accountants to understand). You can
create almost all the transactions on a form or in a register of a
balance sheet account. You can then assign the transaction to one or
more income and expense accounts or balance sheet accounts. In
traditional accounting terms, you are recording debits and credits
in the equivalent of a journal for a balance sheet account. At the
same time, you are posting the transaction to income and expense
accounts or transferring it to another balance sheet account. The
accounting equation is maintained: total debits equal total credits.
